With the Murcia outdoor kitchen, you use a standard gas bottle, which you purchase separately together with the hose and pressure regulator. The bottle fits in the cabinet of panel 1, directly underneath the built-in Grandhall Premium G4 barbecue, which is already installed in the countertop. Choose a hose with a valid expiry date and replace it on time.

The difference between gas and a kamado comes down to time and flavour. The Grandhall Premium G4 in the Murcia reaches temperature within a few minutes, and you control the heat with a knob, making it quick and easy to cook on weekdays. A 16-inch kamado, like the one in the Oslo, adds a smoky flavour and can maintain a low, steady temperature for hours for slow cooking.

Place the Murcia outdoor kitchen under a canopy with good ventilation. When grilling, the Grandhall Premium G4 releases combustion gases and grease into the air, so choose a high, open canopy or one with an extraction system. Keep the space above the barbecue clear so that the Grandhall hood can open fully above the 92 cm-high cabinet.

According to the specifications in the webshop, the Murcia outdoor kitchen weighs 516 kg. This weight requires a flat, hard surface such as paving slabs or concrete. It stands on four heavy-duty castors, so on an even terrace, two people can roll it to the side, for example to clean behind it.

The Murcia has two left-hinged doors next to each other, in panels 1 and 2. In practice, this works well: both doors swing away from the Grandhall Premium G4, keeping the space between you and the fire clear. Panel 4 opens in the opposite direction, making it easy to access the cabinet at the end as well.

Die Küche wurde ordentlich und komplett fertig auf vier stabilen Industrierollen geliefert. Man merkt an allem, dass das wirklich solide Handwerksarbeit ist. Das Möbel fühlt sich sehr schwer und stabil an. Zum Glück lässt es sich auf den Lenkrollen trotzdem ganz leicht zur Seite rollen, wenn die Terrassendielen gefegt werden müssen. Die Zustellung hätte etwas präziser sein können, aber das Produkt selbst verdient eine 10.

Wir waren sofort von der extra dicken Holzarbeitsplatte mit 28 mm Stärke begeistert. Sie verleiht der Murcia eine markante, massive Ausstrahlung auf der Terrasse. Das Douglasienholz ist wunderschön glatt gehobelt und splitterfrei verarbeitet. Danach ist die Reinigung mit einem feuchten Tuch und etwas Seifenwasser ein Kinderspiel.

Eine ideale Kochstation für alle, die den Komfort von Gas mögen. Der Grandhall G4 ist innerhalb weniger Minuten richtig heiß und verteilt die Wärme perfekt. Dass der Kühlschrank direkt daneben steht, macht das Grillen sehr entspannt. Man muss nie mehr für ein kaltes Getränk oder die nächste Portion Fleisch hin und her laufen. Wirklich ein toller Kauf.
